Do I even remember how to blog? Not so sure anymore :) I've decided to make time to blog again! What is wrong with me?! So many things have happened I'm not even going to try and catch everyone up.
I am solely a photographer now, it is wonderful.
I don't have a free saturday for about 10 years b/c of weddings. (yay)
If you missed my New Moon party, do NOT miss the Eclipse party!
The girls are getting ready to graduate from first grade and pre-K.
Lil turned 7 and lost 3 teeth and has 3 more teeth that are getting ready to come out.
Chloe's will be 5 next week.
Mom is having a baby in June.My sister-in-law is having a baby in November.
Consuelo just had a baby 4 weeks ago.
Uncle Ronnie had a double by-pass and my world came crashing down for about 8 weeks. He is perfectly fine now!
The girls have a dance recital tomorrow.

Lil started dance today. FINALLY she says! She was so excited she could hardly contain herself. I got to sit in the side room and watch her on a big TV. It was adorable! Unfortunately, it starts at 3:30 and I completely forgot my camera and didn't have time to run home after school to get it. DANG! Thankfully, my phone has a camera on it. They did the cutest little walk walk walk pose! thing. Chloe sat by and watched practically squeeling b/c she gets to do it on Thursday.

Right after dance was the PTO meeting. For some reason when the Principal asked if anyone wanted to be President all of the teachers started pointing at me. I ended up agreeing to do it b/c Andrea could co-chair with me and we can work together.

Right after PTO was the 1st grade orientation meeting. I got the list of the mom's to help with parties. I've got the halloween party planned, I just need to delegate. I'm wondering how soon I can call the parents without them going, um hello its like 5 months away! Afterwards I went to take a peek into Lil's desk. Her teacher had said to everyone that they were working really hard on keeping their desks neat and tidy. They get reward points and suckers from the desk fairy if everything is as it should be. As I suspected, Lil's desk was so perfect you could eat out of it. I laughed so hard when I saw it. Everything was in perfect order. A stack of books, her pencil box everything. THEN we went to Cade's desk. It looked just as a 6 year old boy's desk would. Crammed. As long as it was in there, he's cool! hahaha

I'm thinking, in the 2nd book, Jacob was great and wonderful and everything and in the 3rd book he kind of got on my nerves, but understandably. In the movie, however, I'm thinking they are going to make him absolutely impossible to not completely fall in love with! I'm thinking that it may be so much so that people might start questioning teams! well, until the end of course lol
I'm pretty sure New Moon is going to be WAY better than Twilight.

Well, that's incredibly creepy sounding. Anywho, Walmart has Paula Deen kitchen stuff and tonight the MIL got me an early Birthday Present!! (yes, very early, but that's how she rolls) I'm so stinking excited. I needed a new large lidded skillet with a shiny happy old woman on the packaging.

T & Ronnie FINALLY got their Cube!!!! They ended up with the Krom b/c they couldn't wait on the dealership to get the one they originally wanted. We drove them out to Wal-mart together and parked next to each other and then drove home right next to each other! IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!!!!!

While at Wal-Mart Lil discovered a Rolling Stone all Jonas Brothers Special edition super sweet 5 poster magazine. Uncle Ronnie bought it for her and by the time we got home she had decided exactly where she was hanging all 5 posters. I made her choose 2 b/c I told her she was too young to hang boys all over her walls. She also had a Hannah poster she had been saving to hang as well. SO we now have the group of 3 on her door, Nick her favorite across from her bed, and Hannah beside her bed. Chloe got to choose one as well and she chose Kevin. Now, this was very odd to me. He is the oldest and she tells me when she chooses it that he should be her boyfriend. Oh come ON you're 4!!

While discussing where to hang said posters I'm telling the girls, about 1,264 times to get their jammies on first. Chloe runs down the hallway to tell me some bit of rubbish and I tell her once again GET YOUR JAMMIES ON!! She looks at me with a smirk and I hear SNOOOOOOOORRRRRRRT. Then she dies laughing. What the HECK was that? I ask. She says, I FINALLY figured out how to make a pig sound!!! and she giggles all the way back to her room.

Needless to say, I did not doing that retarted Kung Pow last night and I will not be doing the stretching for the rest of the week. Once I feel fully "recovered" I will join back in next week with the REAL exercising. HUMPH!

Here's the picture I told you about with Lil in her Little Miss Sunshine Shirt. She spent so long perfecting it, she had to finish the book at home!

Brian tipped the dishwasher box over and cut holes in it for the girls to play in. They made it a drive-thru. I discovered the menu this evening after the girls went to bed.

Tomorrow is my first Monday at the shopper in a very very long time. I'm not exactly sure what I'm going to be doing, but I do know that whatever I do, I need to keep myself busy.

I'm not sure if I told everyone, but I decided to stay at the Shopper. The very last day I was working they decided to call and see what it would take to keep me and we came to an agreement!

I am really happy with my decision (so far lol) because I can pick the girls up from school still and I won't have to find someone to take Lil to dance on tuesdays. I also get to stay in MOPS and won't be out of work 3 months during the winter.

I am so tired from getting up so early to get the kids to school! I'm wondering how long it will take to get my body back on school schedule.

I'm also wondering exactly how I'm to be at both parties for both kids as I signed up for homeroom mom for both classes. Gina informs me that she does it every year and not to worry, but I'm afraid I'm going to miss something when I run to the other class!

Brian installed my new dishwasher today, to which I am eternally greatfull. When I went to use it, I realized its a bit smaller and I got really frustrated and yelled "OH COME ON!!" quite a few times. I'm really glad for the guy at lowes though, I told him I needed one under $400 because that was the budget and he knocked $50 off one so it would come under $400 after taxes and such.

I got these in the mail the other day. They are gell skins for the girls' dss they are going to get for Christmas. My friend showed them to me at www.gelaskins.com I also picked out one that I asked for for my birthday to go on my laptop. They find artists they love and ask them to use their prints on the skins, there are so many beautiful skins, it's so hard to choose!

Rosemary Roasted Sweet Potatoes

I forgot how amazingly tasty these things are. I thought I'd share the recipie for those of you not lucky enough to get to go to Apples of Gold and get it for yourself! For those of you that did, I altered it a little bit

Rosemary Roasted Sweet Potatoes

Sweet Potatoes - Each Potato will usually serve 3 or 4 people

Sea Salt

Rosemary

EVOO

Preheat oven to 425

Peel and cut potatoes. Place on paper toweling and generously salt. Let stand for 30 minutes. Soak up additional water from tops of potatoes with paper towel.

Place dried potatoes in bowl and generously coat with olive oil, then sprinkle with rosemary. You can use as much rosemary as you like, I tend to over sprinkle :) Toss with hands to evenly coat. Place seasoned potatoes on foiled jelly roll pan, sprinkle more rosemary over potatoes if needed.

Bake until soft, 20-30 minutes depending on size of pieces and how crowded the pan. is

Bad news: My hair looked like a poodle when I woke up this morning, again.

Good news: When I weighed in I had lost 16lbs!!!!

Today I'm headed to the Gloss mountains for an engagement shoot, then back home to take Lil to a birthday party, then off to Mom & Granddad's birthday party. Sometime I have to work in the Kung Pow workout for today and making enough rosemary sweet potatoes (recipie compliments of sherri dinsmore) to feed 20.

This book has been on the very top of my favorites list for years now. I bought it right after I started working in the book department at hastings (2004-ish?) because I thought it had such a beautiful cover. I did that a lot, and still do actually (what do you expect?) but this one turned out to be a total Gem!

I was sooooooo excited to see the movie! So Lil, Andrea, Nikki, Jeris, Ronnie, T, Uncle Ronnie, Brett, Rachel & I (lol) went to see it this evening. As I knew I would I cried like a BABY! THEN Andrea and Nikki and I laughed so hard at ourselves we cried even harder! It was sooo dang good. There was only 1 thing I was dissapointed in. The very last scene in the book, which was probably the very best, was left out. He travels really far into the future and she is 80 yrs old sitting in her wheelchair waiting for him. She gets to see him one last time before she dies. Seriously, I remember crying so hard at that part in the book that I was almost dreading it in the movie! When they didn't though, I was not happy. At one point Lil turned to me and said, "Mom, my eyes are tearing up." I said, "It's sad isn't it" she says "yes" But then later she got on to me for crying to loud and shaking the chair. HAHAHAHA!! I did have to cover her eyes at a couple of parts also. It was only rated PG, but apparently PG is a bit different than it used to be. They showed his butt a couple of times and he felt her up once, but other than that she got to see the rest of the movie :) Halfway through she says, "Mom, can we buy this?" um YES!

Mom, Iv'e got good news & bad news

Lil calls me after school b/c T has to pick her up. I'm working late on a Wednesday. She says, Mom I've got good news and bad news. The bad news is, my new school shoes gave me a blister, the good news is I had a faaaaaaaaaabulous day!!! (picture her singing like a gay man)

I wrote them both a note, as usual, but unfortunately (even with the hierogliphics) Chloe had no idea what hers said.

As I'm sure you probably noticed, I've been insanely busy this summer. I have never been so ready for a summer to be over in my life. ALTHOUGH I'm not quite ready to send Chloe to school! Tonight was open house and Lil & Chloe got to meet their new teachers. Lil got Mrs McFarland for first grade. She is the one we were hoping and praying for all summer. Not only did Lil get her, Cade got her too! AND they are sitting right next to each other! HA! Andrea and I got to the school 30 minutes early b/c we were all nervous and had to be the first ones to class and when we got down the hallway we were jumping and yelling with excitement.

Chloe has Mrs Good & Mrs Mason. They are the only pre-K teachers, so we already knew she'd have them. They are who Lil had also so she already pretty much knows them and the way around the room. I am so, completely, not ready to send her away every single afternoon. Last year we tested the waters at Oakwood with 2 mornings a week and it took me a month or so to get used to it, but EVERY DAY!! Thankfully it is only in the afternoons, but the thing that really bothers me is that she will be eating lunch there. I just want to be there to sit with her while she eats!! I know after a while I'll be like SEE YA!! And run away from the parking lot giggling with the prospects of the afternoon to come. I'll let you know when that happens :)

I have sooooo many photos to upload on the site. 3 weddings, seniors, families, kids you name it, I've got it to post. I will try to get a sneak peek posted on here each time I upload, but I will be lucky to get them even uploaded in the near future! Currently I am uploading the bajillion and 1/2 photos to photoworks that I am behind in printing for the 10¢ sale. I still fear my bill will be over $200. In which case, only half will get printed this round.

Lately the statement "bitches be crazy" has been proven over and over again. Between my ex bff and Andrea's ex bff there has been a lot of hatred swirling in the air. (It's quite humerous to hear someone talk about how much better they are than you and they really really mean it! Don't they see the irony of their words?) All of which, unfortunately has radiated downward towards my children. Now, those of you know who know them, and I'm really talking about Lil, knows that this is the silliest thing on the planet. Lil just so happens to be THE sweetest thing on the planet. (don't get me wrong, Chloe is quite loveable, just with attitude) Taking stabs at peoples children to get back at the person is ridiculous and if I may say so myself, white trash :) Fortunately, Lil is a better person than these two women will ever come to be because she is fortunate enough to have a mom that has taught her to care about others. Not only care, but Love. I hope that she never finds out about the things done against her to spite her mommy. Out of these ridiculous actions, however, I now am getting to help plan 2 more birthday parties. All of you should know that that is probably my most favorite thing to do on the planet. One of which includes tea, tarts and fancy hats (which just might be my 2nd 3rd & 4th favorite things on the planet)

Ah well, sorry for the rant. People sitting at home making up reasons to not like me really doesn't bother me, but when it starts affecting my children I take it to heart.

I really can't BELIEVE these two were in the bottom three. Sonja is a genius, well her and Mia :)

Randi and Evan are my absolute favs each week and I'm still not sure about Kayla, but the darn dance was TWILIGHT!! I seriously figured they would get more votes than anyone in the history of voting. lol

This week the girls are at Camp Meg's. They have been driving me nuts for the past month because they were so excited. They started out yesterday with golf lessons and then after lunch and swimming they made snow globes. Today first thing they decorated pillowcases followed by lunch, swimming and later some t-shirt tie dying. Tomorrow they are headed for OKC in the afternoon for dinner and a sleepover. First thing Thursday morning they are headed to the dinosaur exhibit at the science museum followed by some arcade fun at Hey Day, after lunch they are hitting the Sprinkler park and after dinner they are going to see Ice Age 3 at the Warren in 3D! Friday morning after breakfast they are going to Jump Zone and after lunch they are headed home. They are going to be some exhausted little girls this weekend. And what the heck am I doing with all my time while they are gone? CLEANING!! IN PEACE!!

A couple of days ago the girls and I are eating lunch in the mall. A lady walks by that is so tan she doesn't look like a white person anymore and both girls notice. "holy crap mom, why is she so brown?" I hear from Chloe. "Because she tans too much," I say, "and that is how you get skin cancer which is why we wear sunscreen." This gets Lil's brain turning. "Mom, can you get skin cancer from your friends?" She asks. "No, you can not." I reply. "So cancer isn't like lice then?" she asks. "no" (muffle snicker, hold breath) I say. "Do you die from cancer?" she says. "Sometimes," I reply, "Mamaw died because she had cancer in her liver, but Lu had cancer in her boob and she didn't die, they just took her boob off and the cancer was gone." Then slowly I see her face twist as I see something ridiculous is about to come out of her mouth. "Mom, do you think Lu would let me see her fake booby?" and the whole table erupts in laughter.

T has a new bunny living in her yard. We are thinking someone dropped him off and he used to be a pet b/c he is very friendly and just hangs out under her bush all day. The girls named him brownie :)

It took me back to a couple of years ago when I had to break up with a toxic friend. Life has been so much easier and less stressful. I am so thankful for Andrea and how great she has been in my life. God put her in my life exactly when I needed her and I thank him for her daily. You don't realize what you were missing until you get exactly what you need.

Insurance companies are trying to make mastectomies an outpatient procedure. Let's give women the chance to recover properly in the hospital for 2 days after surgery. If there was ever a time when our voices and choices should be heard, this is one of those times.
There's a bill called the Breast Cancer Patient Protection Act which will require insurance companies to cover a minimum 48-hour hospital stay for patients undergoing a mastectomy. It's about eliminating the 'drive-through' Mastectomy
where women are forced to go home just a few hours after surgery, against the wishes of their doctor, still groggy from anesthesia and sometimes with drainage tubes still attached.
Lifetime Television has put this bill on their Web page with a petition drive to show support. Last year over half the House signed on.

I have uploaded a TON of photos to the site and still have more to do but one can only sit and upload so many at a time until ones husband exclaims, can I PLEASE have the internet back?! Although, since I've been listening to my Twilight saga on my ipod while I work, I could do it all day lol. I'm almost finished with new moon getting ready to start eclipse again. *woot*

I have survived my first wedding of crazy wedding season! Not only survived, but thrived lol. Donna catered it and asked me to give her some business cards to put down at her shop b/c as she says, wedding photographers are "slim pickins" in Enid right now. And since she caters about 98% of the weddings in Enid - YAY for me! I need to make some rep cards to give her since my business cards are so small. As I feared, people are losing them. darn.

I took some pics of the girls. They weren't in the mood so I think I'm going to have to have a 2nd session with them b/c I didn't find anything I wanted to blow up and hang on my wall. A few small prints but no 16x20 to replace the last one I took.

I really like this one ^ but their faces are slightly out of focus and I think it will bother me really big and hanging above my couch.

This weeks class at the scrapbook store is postponed because only one person signed up lol. Come on, people don't want to make a planner for the summer?! I'm going to try and make it into something that is not a planner and maybe others will want to join. It is a pre-put together kit from Bo-Bunny and I haven't looked at it yet, but I'm sure I can figure something out with what they gave me.

As I mentioned, I've been listening to my Twilight via Ipod series and I have to have something to do after the hubby faints from internet exhasperation, so I've been scooting my computer aside and getting some scrapping done! Maybe I will get some posted. Most are going downtown and when that happens I forget to take pictures until they come home months later. eh

I am also lens shopping. I am frustrated to no end with my 18-200. It just is not cutting the mustard. Or the cheese for that matter. Of course the one I really want is $1200 and while my business is crazy busy, I do not have that much lying around. We still have bills to pay (yuk). So, thanks to Sarah for some suggestions and thanks to Megan at Cliffs for looking for every 12 lenses I call about every day :) Hopefully soon I will come to a decision (one that I can afford) and make my purchase!

Brian decided to be responsible and won't give me a tattoo until the house is finished.

SO - it will be like another bajillion years.

lol, okay more like a couple of weeks.

I've started making lists for christmas gifts. I usually start buying around June but last year I didn't and it got a bit stressfull in the end when I wasn't finished shopping, but the bank was finished giving me money! Anywho, I've had all sorts of ideas swimming around and even though i'm not going to buy them for a while I wanted to get them written down! In addition to whatever silly thing I find just about everyone on my list is getting something from here this year WORLDVISION as I was looking through putting items next to peoples names I got really sad b/c I want to get one of everything! I just spent $25 on a Team Edward shirt and now I'm looking that that same $25 could have saved an entire family from malaria! We have it so good here and we take it for granted every day! I know I do. I go to sleep soundly at night knowing my girls are not going to get bit by a mosquito and not make it through the month or not worry about not having any livestock to feed my family. SHEESH!

They also offer really great stuff like a kit for pregnant women, ducks and chickens, or (my personal favorite) art and music instruction!!

I started the twilight series Friday. It is amazing how a book can suck you in and render you helpless to the world around you. I had to fight the urge to read all weekend so I could work at the crop, so it took me a couple of extra days to finish. I'm now into the 2nd chapter of the New Moon and I'm just about to jump out of the window at work so I can run away and hide and read some more. I didn't even wear makeup today b/c I ran out of time. I mean come on, who reads in the morning anyway?! If it were even the least bit safe, I would figure out how to read while I was driving. I'm very excited for the long drive to Falls Creek this weekend and went to buy the 3rd book just in case I finish the 2nd one. You would all be able to hear me screaming if I finished and didn't have the next one to read. I had to spend the entire day yesterday painting Lily's new room (which is adorable btw) because if I spent one more day not doing anything I needed to I was going to start feeling really really guilty. So I took a couple of days breaks between the first and second. I was not going to start reading again until tomorrow afternoon, since I have to work today I did not want to have to get caught up in something and the torture myself all day not being able to finish it. Apparently I am glutton for punishment b/c the hour I spent waiting to go to my chiropractor I read 2 chapters. I even read during my appointment. I may have hit a new low.

Lil had her first soccer game last night. She scored the first goal for her team!! I took pictures, but probably won't upload any until well, you know.

I mentioned I worked the crop last weekend. I completed 54 pages. I could hardly believe it! It must be a new record. I also took pictures of some to show you, but probably also won't upload them for a while.

I went to the Chiropractor for my back and he found a small crack in a vertebrae on my neck. He could not believe that my neck doesn't hurt. I swore it was only my butt! So, my MIL freaked and sent me to her neurology boss to make sure my head wasn't going to fall off. He informed me that I did, indeed have a cuncussion but all is well now and the crack is nothing to worry about as it is not in an essential spot.

Last nights Idol was really good. HOWEVER, I watched it late and even though it said you can vote up to 2 hours after it's over I tried an hour and a half after it was over and I COULDN'T GET THROUGH!!
My favorite of the night was Matt. He totally won me over (again) and I felt so bad for him that I wanted to call him personally and tell him how amazing he is and how I would buy all of his records.
I also thought Megan did super fabulous. I would buy that single.
As always, Danny was going to get my vote as well.
Anoop sucked.
Lil did better than they gave her credit for, but I don't ever vote for her.
Alison rocked the house, but I still don't ever vote for her.
Adam is still a freak, although he did this odd thing with an expression last night that made me smile.
Crazy eyes made me laugh histerically. I totally want to take him to McDonalds for dinner - unfortunately though, not buy any of his records.
Kris, for the first time, made me start to like him. Like a lot. I think at one point in his song my heart did a small pitter patter.
I'm sad that I didn't get to vote and I'm nervous Matt might go home tonight and I will singlehandedly have caused it not getting my one vote in.

I was putting winter clothes in the attic and - stumble fart & fall - CRASH!

I trip down the ladder, trip off the washer and land on my butt, then smash my head into the fridge.

I spent the whole afternoon in the ER.

After a catscan and a bunch of x-rays I was just badly bruised.

I can't walk very well and I defenetly can't sit or bend over.

SUCK!!!

Yesterday we went to the omniplex and it was a blast!

Afterwards we met my dad at red robin. The girls got a balloon on the way out and Lil lost hers in the wind. She was all distraught and I tried to condole her by telling her that her balloon was with Jesus. Later in the evening when we were on our way to Target Sylvia, my sister, exclaimed - I can see Jesus holding your red balloon!!

Holy cow I have never laughed so hard in my life.

I finally signed up with White House Custom Color. Not sure what took me so long. I can now offer double sided announcements and greeting cards. SUPER excited about that one.

The girls are getting their haircuts Friday. Time for the summer bob! I always look back on pictures when they were young and their hair was so long and think, oh its so pretty!! But it never fails every summer we chop it off again. Not against their will, of course, they are usually the first to say, I'm ready for short hair mom!

I was watching the color wonder fingerpaint commercials. WHO IS DUMB ENOUGH TO HAVE WHITE FURNITURE AND WHITE CARPET MUCH LESS LET THE KIDS PAINT ON THEM?! Seriously people, I'm thinking, even if it doesn't leave color, it surely leaves a residue. Surley.

Brian was on the SeaWorld site checking for birthday party options. His boss is taking her daughter there for her birthday. They have really fun packages where you get to stay the night with either the penguins or the sharks (yeah right) and you get backstage tours and what not. It is $95 A KID!!! AND YOU HAVE TO INVITE AT LEAST 9 KIDS!! What in heavens name?! Oh Lil, where would you like to have your thousand dollar party this year? Oh, and make sure you keep your gift under $500. AS IF!

I have picked out my next vacuum. I have been wanting a dyson for years but Brian tells me that we do not own enough carpet to spend $900 on a vacuum. (yes he exaggerates) SO while waiting for paint to mix at Lowes the other day, I browsed the kitchen small appliance aisle to drool over the kitchenaid mixers and stainless steel measuring spoons. I ran across this:

It is a canester vacuum with attachments for carpet AND hardwood/tile! AND it's only $250. AND I think my current vacuum is about to bite the dust (please bite the dust please bite the dust!) The cool thing about this one too is you can silence it so your hubby doesn't yell at you when he's trying to watch heroes and you feel like you have to clean up the cherios right this very second. (what is the deal with that show anyway?) Also, on the attachments there is a pet hair button and a muddy footprint button. AND it totally goes with my red hair!! YES!

Apparently the thing to do nowadays is have 2 senior photo sessions. I, myself, have never heard of the likes, but the girls are wanting it, so I deliver! (can't argue with two session fees - w00t) I had one inside session when I graduated! My sessions last about 2 hours, have about a thousand clothing changes and about a hundred locations. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining, I have a ton of fun on senior sessions! It's just different.

Brian has been faux finishing the walls of the new bedroom. The painter painted the bedroom Red Cent (a coppery orangey color) and Brian is going over it with a plastic bag and some brown glaze. It kind of looks like leather and it looks really great. The new bathroom is called Honey Gold. It makes me happy :) As soon as he is finished with the glaze our contractor will put up the trim and we can get the carpet in.

I bought a box of dark mahogany hair color at walmart today. Don't worry, I'm not going to dye the whole shabang, just accent it here and there. I'm going to Andrea's in a few so she can help me with it. I'll post a pic unless it turns out bad, in which case I will be posting a pic of my shaved head.

This afternoon while we were waiting for Granddad at Cici's Lil wanted to know how babies got in Mommy's tummies. I told her that when you find a husband and you love each other very much then you decide to put a baby there. She said, GOD puts it there! I said, well, you have to have a hubby to help, unless you are Mary. She said, well, I have a boyfriend! I said, no a boyfriend will not work you HAVE to have a husband. (SHEESH!!!) Soon after the lights are out and I leave the room the girls start yelling,

MOM!! SHE WOKE ME UP, SHE WON'T BE QUIET SO I CAN SLEEP!

Knowing that we go through this every night and knowing that whatever I've been saying has obviously not been working, I go for a different approach.

Girls, it is not okay to concentrate on what the other person is doing wrong. You need to look at yourself and make sure you are doing the right thing. If you would both look at yourself in this situation you would realize that you are making the noise and then you can be quiet so the other person can sleep.

Lil replies with, Mom, for one thing it is dark in here and we can't even see our faces. How are we supposed to look at ourselves if we can't see ourselves.

Oh, COME ON!! Not litterally!!!!

Lil had 2 cavities at her last checkup.

I apparently had convinced myself that kids don't get cavaties b/c I didn't have one until I was like 12.

I was totally not prepared.

I mean, it's not like it was a kidney transplant or something, but if you had seen me today you would have thought it was and that my kidney was the one being transplanted.

I didn't say anything to her about it until I picked her up from school.

I didn't want her to stew over it all day because Lord knows, I was going to.

I greeted her with 2 Tylenol and the news.

On the way to the dentist I start prepping her.

I tell her that when she gets in the chair the dr will give her some gas that will make her feel funny, then she will take a drill that will jiggle her cheeks and it wont hurt, just feel funny ( I totally skipped the needle part ) then they will fill the hole they made with some stuff that will taste really gross.

She was like, Okay.

She likes all the information so she will know exactly what to expect.

I made sure and snagged her Ipod so she will have yet another thing to distract her.

We get there and I ask the nurse (b/c we have never done this before) if they will use gas on Lil.

She says, no we don't do that.

OH EM GEE

So I ask, can she listen to her Ipod.

Of course she can!

WHEW

So we sit down and I broke the news about the gas.

She doesn't care b/c she doesn't know the difference anyway.

She decides she wants to go ahead and start listening to her Ipod while she is coloring and waiting on the dr.

HER IPOD DIES.

Mom of the year didn't even THINK to charge it!!!

OH EM GEE

Okay, so no gas, no Ipod, but it's okay I will hold her hand through the whole thing.

The nurse comes out to get her and says I'm ready to take her back.

I stand up to go with her and she says, oh she has to go alone.

OOOOOHHHHH EEEEEEEEEEEEM GEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

I said, no I have to go with her.

She says, there is no room for me in the room with her.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!

She starts to cry.

I start to officially panic.

After about 4 minutes of co-ersing and a promise to buy icecream the second we are done we find out that the thing she is afraid of is the gross tasting tooth filler.

seriously?!

So the nurse tells her that she promises to get her sucker tube right next to it so she won't have to taste it.

Lil is like, well okay then and trots to the back.

I am sitting in the waiting room alone and starting to text andrea b/c I'm totally freaked out and I just know she is going to cry out for me.

THEN MY PHONE DIES!!!

Full on panic sets in.

I am alone in the waiting room with no possible chance to vent about it while they are drilling holes in my 6yr olds skull for the first time ever and everyone is going to die!!

After what seemed to be the longest wait of my life the nurse comes out smiling and says, well that was a piece of cake.

She was picking out her toy as the nurse told me how great she was, no tears, no fears and tons of giggles about her lip that fell asleep and seemed twice the size it should be.

Out comes lil exclaiming "Mom! Feel my face it feels crazy!!"

Lori wanted me to go see Coraline with her. I wanted to, but I didn't feel comfortable taking the girls (who happen to be afraid of their shadows) so I passed and will netflix it later. Lori decided to take Jordan. He did fine until that evening when she put him in bed and then snuck back into his room with buttons in her eyes!!! I'm telling you what I can't wait until my girls are old enough to do those kinds of evil things to. Life is so fun when you can start torturing them.

I've started a new class at the church on a book called Life's Healing Choices. It is the introduction to a fab program called Celebrate Recovery. I'm hoping to get over my hang-ups and go about the rest of my life with less anxiety than I came into the world with. I have an amazing group of women to share the journey with and I am really excited to see what it brings!

Chloe is a complete ham. Everyday she says or does something new that makes me double over. Most of the time she makes no sense whatsoever. "MOM, that one line you know on my toenail, well it just comed OFF!" or her favorite "Mom, when I was little I was borned." It is amazing how different kids are! Lil is so sweet and reserved and brainy and Chloe, while she loves the pants off of you, will knock you down for a piece of bubblegum if it comes to it. Today we went to a sugar rush party and she sat all big in the chair getting her hair did, then put on a cheerleading outfit and put on a show! I didn't even have to ask her to pose for the camera, everytime I brought it up and pointed it at her it was automatic. She strutted across the stage during the fashion show and struck the BEST pose out of any of them! She was the youngest girl there, but she made herself a place and was not lost in the crowd!

According to a case described in the medical journal Sleep Medicine, a 44-year-old sleepwalker logged onto her computer and emailed out party invitations to friends. Fortean Times magazine looks at this case and several other bizarre episodes of somnambulism. From Fortean Times:
The mails themselves were perhaps not up to the woman’s waking standard; each was in a random mix of upper and lower case characters, badly formatted and containing odd expressions. One read: “Come tomorrow and sort this hell hole out. Dinner and drinks, 4.pm. Bring wine and caviar only.” Another said simply: “What the…”

The writers of the report have dubbed this new variation of sleepwalking ‘zzz-mailing’. They say: “We believe writing an email after turning the computer on, connecting to the Internet and remembering the password displayed by our patient is novel. To our knowledge this type of complex behaviour requiring coordinated movements has not been reported before in sleepwalking. She was shocked when she saw these emails, as she did not recall writing them. She did not have any history of night terr ors or sleepwalking as a child.”

Unlike simple sleepwalking, they argue, the activities the woman engaged in required complex behaviour and coordinated movement, as well being able to remember her login details. She had no memory of the events next day. It’s thought that the somnambulistic episode may have been triggered by prescript ion medication.

That is what this one ---^ has decide to announce to anyone new she meets. Followed with, "my daddy trims the hair on my puppy's weiner" - come on, you would too if it was dragging and making pee lines across your floor!!

I finished the second senior session with Nicole and posted some pics on the site. I guess the thing to do these days is a fall and a spring session. I have a few that have requested that.

1. This picture is old, unfortunately I couldn't find a new one, but my brother looks EXACTLY like James Franco in Pineapple Express. I watched it last night and I felt like I was watching Anthony the whole time!!! I will try and get a newer picture of him and post it, you will totally die when you see it.

2. I jumped on the Hand Sanitizer bandwaggon for the teacher for Valentines Day. How could I not? They were way too cute. I used rub-ons & bling and ribbon to tie their valentines on.

3. Writing on napkins has to be my favorite past-time. Something about it I'm not sure, it just feels nice. You should try it. I think all paper should be made of napkins.

Great googly moogly - yes I'm watching maggie and the ferocious beast. although I'm not sure why because chloe is in the other room watching 13 going on 30 for the 2nd time today. I really should change the channel. Lil insisted she buy 13 going on 30 with some of her birthday money and it has been playing non stop in our house. Of course Chloe calls it 14 going on 13... I'm not sure what the appeal of the movie is, but I decided it was okay for them to watch.

I found these ads on someones facebook and I absolutely had to share them. They are a total Gas!!!

So, some of you know I fell down the steps going into the backyard and landed on my elbow. I had an instant bruise of the pattern of my sweater and now I have a large purple bruise underneath it. It is totally gross and my arm hurts all the way to my shoulder!! This is the year of falling I swear. I am super clumsy so that is my excuse, but poor Tom fell going into the gym, Brad fell on his lunch break, Sally fell and hurt her back and Poor Kathy's hubby BROKE his back when he fell!! Enough ice already!!
