Memorial Day!

Every year on memorial day the train at the park starts running again. We took the girls yesterday and they had a BLAST!

I feel like part of me is missing :(

Latisha and I had so much fun and we had to say goodbye this evening. I'm so sad. I didn't want to cry in front of her so I just smiled and joked. We took pictures together and each did a layout with them before she had to go. I miss her already...

w00t!!

Well, It's actually the other way around... I'm picking up Latisha from the airport tonight and unless we are super bored and have some cute pics of us together I probably won't be blogging until tuesday when she leaves.

I stayed up late last night finishing these for Lily's teachers. Today is her last day of school and they are having a parade with their favorite animals. It's going to be so much fun :)

I got a call today and I've been chosen to be next years publicity person for MOPS. yay =) So Next Thursday will be our first meeting with the new steering team. Also, this thursday we are supposed to bring our favorite gadget, that either makes life easier or more fun. I think I'm going to take my cropadile. Maybe I'll pierce a few ears while I'm there ;)

Not So Fun Post Alert

It's a good thing I had so much fun last night b/c I probably wont be going out like that for quite some time. I had another attack today, but it was different so we went to the hospital and the Dr told me once again that I was extremely healthy, but this time she wanted to send me home with a heart monitor. I think its attractive...u? It totally freaks Lily out though. Poor thing. She kept asking if I was going to die b/c I was going to the hospital. The only person she's ever known that has gone to the hospital has been her mamaw and she passed away last september, so she just thinks that you go to the hospital to die. So sad. She'll feel better tomorrow when I can take this thing off. Brian had to take them across the street to the park b/c they were both freaking out so thankfully Lauren could come to my rescue and I didn't have to sit there and wait all my myself. Now I must bed. so tired...

Early Mother's Day

We went to Lilian's Spring Program this evening and at the end they had surprises for all the mom's. They had made us these super cute cards and these SUPER awesome corsages, which made me cry. It's a Lily made from her HANDPRINT!!! *sigh*

I finished another card last night. Slowly but surely I will get done! This is so odd for me. Usually I have things finished a month in advance. I'm not sure what to do with this last minute business. I have 2 left to make :/ Here's the one I made for my Grandmother.

With that said, I have to note: Rachel Ray gets on my nerves. I'm not sure if its her GIANT mouth (haha giada) or the fact that she doesn't like mayonase.

Anywho... This has got to be the best snack ever envented (thank you jessica!!) ready to eat cheesecake filling + cinnamon graham crackers = Giant Ass! ooh, I mean YUUUUUMMMM!!!

Here is the mother's day card I made for the 3 mothers. I now have to make one for 3 grandmothers. I'm skipping one this year and one passed away last year, so I think 6 sounds pretty nice. I got the pattern from the mother's day paper crafts btw :)

National Scrapbook Day!!

RANT ALERT

Its a good thing that the office was the best episode EVER b/c greys totally pissed me off! All week they showed previews for the show, but or GREY'S not for private practice, so I was so not expecting it to be so prominent. If there was any hope for me to watch the new show in the past, It is completely gone. I feel like I was forced to watch it and that bothers me. I can't wait for next week so I can actually watch my show!!!

Cards!

I've been using the CRAP out of my big mouth stamp...as I knew I would.
I made 24 Happy Mail tags to go with some goodies and my Sister-in-law's birthday card.
I also used a shaker box that Brian's Aunt gave me to make Chloe's birthday card! I'm so proud of myself :P Now I just need to find a design in my papercrafts to copy for mother's day cards. haha
