Here's the card I made for the Red Velvet Swap. Latisha came up with the quote for me and I just ran with it. I used lace as a mask for the bottom and I cut out some felt hearts, which btw are really hot pink but didn't scan right...

Anywho, the last thing is a super funny story out of the Kingfisher times. I just had to share it.

Scrappin

I scrapbooked all day yesterday. All day. I only got 6 pages done. Sheesh. I think I'm better scrapping at home with my earbuds in and no one to talk to. Maybe next time I'll just make some cards. I liked these two layouts though.

Crazy Dreams

Lily woke up this morning and said that she had had a dream. I asked her what it was and she said that her and I were running from a fish and it caught her and ate her but I just kept running. She was so upset because she couldn't figure out why I would just keep running and not help her get out of the fish! I assured her that if this were to ever happen I wouldn't let the fish get her in the first place! How sad. (note to self...no trips to the lake this summer eek :/)

My dream was a bit different. Actually I had several. One consisted of me not getting Lily to school AGAIN. One was of me shopping at the LSS, which I haven't done in almost a year b/c the lady pissed me off. The last one was about how I had to go do something after church out in a field(?) and around 2:00 I realized we didn't have chloe. I had to rush back to the church to get her and everyone was standing around PISSED! I was crying so hard! What a way to wake up and start the day eh?

McHubby?

Lately Brian has been doing something odd with his beard. It reminded me of something. Then, last night it hit me! McSteamy!!! Hahaha. What do you think? Actually, now that I really look at the first one, since he shaved the mustache part, he looks Amish. haha

Flower Frenzie!!

My Secret Cupid asked for felt flowers. Instead of buying her one jar of 85 for $6.99 I decided I should make my own. I only spent $2 on 12 sheets of felt and just cut them out myself. I really hope she likes them! Most of them I just traced some flower shapes and cut them out, but one of each color I made bigger ones and decorated them. It was so much freaking fun. BTW, If you're doing the cupid swap and you asked for felt flowers, I know for a fact that my girl isn't the only one that asked for them :P SOOO You may be my girl, you may NOT! BWAHAHAHAH (evil laugh) (I have two friends playing cupids too)

BLEH!!!

Okay, not really. I thought I'd share the layout I did about my obsession. It isn't my #1 obsession, but it is one that has stuck with me through the years. It was the challenge for week one of Secret Cupids.

My Hubby...He's so Fantastic :)

This is what Brian does. He is so freaking talented! This is a model he painted this evening. He gave it a yellow jumpsuit as a joke. He plays this game with his friends and he has a friend named Bill, so he made a "kill bill" figure. It even says kill bill on the Ball. He paints these guys all the time and they look so lifelike! He even sculpts with this epoxy stuff that gets really hard when you mix the two sides. Right now he's working on a tank. So far he's used some foam core a for sale sign and some pvc pipe. It is so amazing! I just don't know how he does it.

Another random thought. Why is Louis only pronounced phonetically when you say St. Louis. Usually it's pronounced Louie, but not in this case. It's enough to make an old man scratch his head and think...

Bellies Bellies Everywhere!

I took some belly pics today. I was a bit nervous because these were the first "clients" that I didn't know prior to the shoot! They did sooo good and I think these are my favorite yet! There are color ones too, but I just uploaded the b&w ones. What do you think?

Reliving My Childhood

Skylar got 2 seasons of Fraggle Rock for Christmas. Lauren, being the nice lady she is, gave us his old dvd's since he didn't need them anymore. I almost peed my pants from excitement when Lily and I sat down to watch it. That used to be my favorite show :) AND in honor of our new awesome dvd's, Lily wore a side-ponytail all night. YES!!!
