Holy Crap I have so much to say!

CKC kind of sucked... The vendor faire was about half of what it was last year, and I could have taught all of the classes. I really don't like to pay someone $20 to tell me something I already know. SO next year we are going to just make a day trip to go shopping. With that said, some good things DID happen :)

1. I got to meet Lisa (pics to come) - Funny story, I handed her my envelope to sign with my schedule on it and she just wrote my name down without asking and spelled it right! I was like, I don't remember telling her my name. How the HECK does she know my name!!! I ran away with the girls to exclaim my excitement, when I realized my name was written on the top of the schedule. DUH hahaha, oh well it made a good laugh.

2. I won 2nd place with my Gasp layout. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!!! (pics to come)

3. I got to meet a fellow Sister named Deanna and I love her :*

4. When I die, one of the places that is going to be in my personal heaven is Scraphappy's. We walked in for the crop and have never felt so welcome and good about ourselves. That is how a scrapbook store should be ran.

5. Lori took us on the best date ever. I was even singing the spongebob song at the end of the day. (best day ever) She took us to eat at PF Changs, OH MY GOSH! (another place that will be in my personal heaven when I die) THEN we went to the river walk and ate at Marble Slab. As we were walking and eating our FABULOUS icecream we happend upon a free live concert, of a band that I happen to particularly like. They're called Down Here and it was soooo much fun!!

6. I came home to a completely remodled living room. Ever since we moved in and I found out what the hardwood floors looked like under our carpet I've been begging my hubby to pull it up. He has refused and refused and I had given up. He did it as a surprise for me and I got home late and he was PISSED to say the least. Oh well, it looks awesome :) I haven't quite figured out yet though, what changed his mind.

I'M NOT READY!!!

We went in this morning to meet Lily's new teacher at Hoover. I was standing in line with Wendy nearly shaking. I really didn't think I'd have such a hard time with it, but I so am! I think I'm going to have to take a pill before tomorrow. Thankfully, though, I am friends with the PTA president, so I'm already in on everything and I've already been signed up for a bunch of projects. She asked me to do the yearbook which is hopefully going to be fun and she's informed everyone that I will be taking her place as president next year when she leaves which pretty much scares me to death :) The teacher sent home nice notes with her work number, home number and email in case anyone needs to get ahold of her. I'm programming it all in my phone because I know I'm going to be using it. I wasn't the only mom freaking out though, the poor lady in front of me had about a thousand questions about what to put in her childs lunchbox. She made me look sane :) I also noticed someone I graduated High School with is the new first grade teacher. Since when is someone my age old enough to teach school???? When exactly did my peer group become ADULTS??!! Wendy said we are emotionally retarted. hahahah I agree.

I have 53 mosquito bites. They are so bad that I didn't sleep very well last night because I kept having to get up and put anti-itch on them.

Back in college I took an oil painting class with this fantasic guy named Ty. I miss Ty... He did this painting and hated it! He ended up leaving it at the school and I discovered it the next semester when we both took pottery (which btw turns out to be my nemisis). I love the darn thing so he told me I could have it and I brought it home and hung it in various places of the house until it found its home in the bathroom! Our bathroom is black & white, so it is absolutely perfect AND almost everyone sees it when they come over, even if they don't actually go to the bathroom, you can see it from the living room. Anywho, I just thought I'd share my little nugget of gold :)

Garage Sale Find!!

So, I know this isn't as "vintage" as the other old cameras I've come to hoard, but it is still so freaking cool! I could go to estate sales every day just to look for old cameras. I'm not sure where I'm going to display this one yet.

Wendy, Megumi and I went on a shopping spree this weekend. Too much fun. We needed to get some bad energy out, and what better way to do that, than to spend the money we made the day before at the garage sale? AND tax free to boot!
Anywho, I super loved these shoes and they match this purse. w00t
oh and um...the pics are kind of blurry b/c I took them with my phone and the purse is actually super duper mustard colored, but whatev!
